This is the website of Defend Our NHS York, an active group of concerned citizens and health care professionals who are joining the massive UK effort to protect the UK’s finest institution to ensure the NHS remains available to “serve all who need it”.

All are welcome and encouraged to contribute at any level you are able.  The only qualification is a passion to ensure that our publicly funded NHS continues to be provided publicly, free at the point of use and that it efficiently provides the best value for our tax contributions. We believe in  “Public Health not Private Wealth”.
