Excellent I’ve been waiting for this since before the last election. The STP contractions in the NHS are dressed up to appear as cost-saving improvements. Shipping patients and equipment around amid steadily increasing traffic on the back of rising populations makes no sense at all. It is just not forward planning and will result in breaking the system or opening the door to more privatisation. Private patients should not be using NHS hospitals and NHS theatres.
